It is not the United States' taxpayers' responsibility to teach people to WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!

I read a couple of books about ebola back in the day. It very much outruns the population such that it is too virulent and kills many people to the point that it burns out in the population because an infected population collapses. But that requires people being forced to stay put. A worst case complication is if this gets to large cities. Kinshasa is a city of 17 million people. Checking, there are no cases there. So this will burn out in the outlying towns and villages. I'm sure the government representatives there are restricting travel. It's about all they can do. I'm not sure if there are vaccinations for it yet. I read about this years ago so I'm not sure about the status of potential treatments.
In reading about this it is just an unbelievable and vicious sort of outbreak.
With regard to the US, we don't want any travel between the citizens of DRC and here.
AI says there are CDC officials from Atlanta there assisting the government.

More like two months more will kill 85% of the population and it will be done.
Edit: AI says current mortality rate is just under 50%.
back in the day I read about ebola Zaire which had at times 90% mortality rate. Overall close to 70%.

They try out some new disease scare every year in order to try to impose new lockdowns. They used to try out these disease scares about once every 5 years, but now it happens every year.
It hasn't worked yet. But if they try enough times, sooner or later their attempt might work and we might have new lockdowns.

Yet India has reported zero cases of Ebola.

Speaking of lockdowns, are we not all supposed to be in Hantavirus lockdowns right now?
I was assured they were coming from the usuals.

I don’t know anything about bloody diarrhea.
But I remember reading that outbreaks stay in Africa because (1) Ebola spreads through touch, (2) corpses are when the virus is most infectious, and (3) African funeral rituals involve touching the deceased.
