So many assumptions in this thread. The initial reports certainly changed. What happened is a guess.

Just holy shite after reading the cliff notes. If that info is correct, stand your ground has a good chance to come into play. The shooter will have to prove that he felt his life was in danger and he didn't have a way to escape.

After reading the cliff notes I'd like to know who started the "he was standing over him shooting him " rumor. Things like that start riots and assaults.

And one would think after Brown aand other high profile incidents people would learn by now to wait until the facts are out.

The news reported their were 'multiple witnesses' that reported something close to McKnight apologizing and Gasser putting one last shot into him while on the ground.

So yes we can laugh now, but there were supposedly credible resources that printed that info.

There weren't multiple witnesses about that Clint Eastwood bullshite. it was one witness who wouldn't name herself.

I think a key issue here is - where was gasser going? If he followed McKnight to yell (or he'll just to kill him in rage) at him - he could have escaped the situation. If McKnight followed him, then the threat level is a lot higher and stand your ground becomes a lot more possible.

I think there is something wrong with the system if we let murders walk on bail only for them to get charged later. But hey, that's just how it is, right?
I have literally no idea what's going on in this case. I have no idea what's going on in this thread.

But you, sir....are a complete idiot.

Lol. Wow, talk about a facts guy here. Look at the pictures before opening your mouth. It's pretty clear McKnight was the agressor at the end by where the cars ended up.

Road rage usually takes 2 sides being idiots, one side either drives horribly or usually provokes the other side that's a hot head. But usually both sides drive like idiots and both sides are hot heads. Gasser is not completely innocent in that aspect, but that doesn't make him guilty or innocent of anything that happened at the final stoplight.

1. Gasser did not stand over McKnight and shoot him
2. Gasser fired three times from inside his vehicle (the three bullet casings were found inside his car)
3. McKnight was not apologizing before he was shot

But but but...

quote:

A witness, who declined to give her name, said she saw a man at the intersection yelling at McKnight, who was trying to apologize. The man shot McKnight more than once, the witness said. She said he shot McKnight, stood over him and said, "I told you don't you f--- with me." Then the man fired again, she said.

And she has no idea how she actually hurt the case.

She should be charged and should be mandatory jail time.

Same goes for women that make up false rape charges

Exactly. This wasn't a case of simple mistaken identity or detail but she actually said she saw him apologize then have a guy stand over him shooting McKnight. That is not a simple mistake but an outright lie that should bring a charge against her.
People who make false statements that are used by anotherto commit a crime should also face charges both criminal and Civil.
