One of the victims was 16 years old. Don't know about you guys and gals but at 16 I sure the hell wasn't in downtown New Orleans at 3:30am on a Sunday morning

Did I ever say that?

saying you want homeless americans to be forcefully confined to specific areas of the city is certainly a take.

also, what confined areas of the city should these people be kept?

In the case of New Orleans, they will never be mildly addressed.

except for the massive drop in murders over the past three years.

All day everyday Nextdoor app and The Ring Doorbell app is full of crimes like these

I's like to see the city address these petty crimes as well as the others....THAT would be progress

I just don't want to drive on Calliope and feel like I am at a camp ground, or see tourists scared to death trying to get on a street car because some bum is in a drunken stupor with his pants half off at the street car stop. Don't think that's unreasonable.

NYC wasn’t cleaned up until a bulldog of a former federal prosecutor was elected mayor. It’s not impossible. It’s just very improbable for NOLA.

Find where I used that word. I really would prefer them to not have tents anywhere inside the city. The city has enough resources to go up and down St Charles throwing away ladders for Mardi Gras, can't tell me they can't go pick up some bums tent.

White knighting for bums erecting filthy campgrounds in high tourist areas is a weird hill to die on.

Blaming the hard rock hotel collapse on the mayor is one of the dumber more ignorant things you can do.

Can’t flood the city and spread your undesirables across the country more than once per lifetime.

ok then maybe she was referring to the actual progress made re: violent crime. but you're not going to accept that regardless so whatever.

She’s asking Mrs Lincoln about how the play went other than the whole bit with her husband.
