Greenway
New Airport Terminal
Bourbon Street redo

That’s like bragging about taking care of your kids.

Like Chris Rock said,

“[A n**** will brag about something they’re supposed to do. Like, ‘I take care of my kids.’ You’re supposed to you dumb motherf—ker!”

Apparently you haven't heard that the Popeyes Chicken sandwich is being sold again at all New Orleans area locations.

Property crime is rampant here too

It’s obvious the criminals know the cops don’t give a shite.

Jesus Christ dude. I give you a list of actual infrastructure improvements and you can't handle it.

I get it. You live in a shite part of the city that floods and you can't figure out how street parking works so you get ticketed.

It's 100 degrees half of the year and it rains every other day in South Louisiana. I've got nothing against bikes but they aren't a legitimate alternative form of transportation for most.

This board actually has a wealth of inside knowledge over the years if someone just stops dismissing it all.

There is/was a poster that was a big part of the master plan that drops in from time to time and gives great insight to the methods behind what seems random. Why certain projects need to be done and what areas it is helping.

I didn't vote Cantrell, not a fan. Pretty sure I won't vote for her next time either. I think she is over her head at times and gets drawn in by emotion to easily. I also think it could be a lot worse. The woman fights for this city, she doesn't sit back and shite on it at every chance like 08 is notorious for. Through certain ways she has exposed corruption that is beyond her reach as mayor.

More just naming off actual improvements that often get overlooked

I admit there is an extremely long way to go. Road conditions are worse than most cities. Infrastructure is aging and repairs seem slow. Our focus is on catching up rather than getting ahead. So much easy fruit to pick for haters and instead that make comments that are just uninformed or false.

It is ignorant to believe that infrastructure work isn't happening though. Most people who don't frequent the city have no idea what major projects are going on so I was more listing projects that stand out. You can shite on every project for something, cost overruns and schedule seem to be the favorites. NOLA isn't unique in government projects having these issues.

Just thought of the bus exchange/terminal/hub being built at Convention and I10. That will be an improvement to public transportation in the city that lacks any sort of actual hub.

Look... Dealing with mass shootings is just part of living in such an eclectic city...

Am I doing this right?
