I woke up thinking the Mayor, or someone else in authority would have come out and extinguished this story because of all the new info, NOPE. The perpetually offended are even crazier.

Perused the comments today. The spin after the white doll revelation is that 1) the black dolls were painted in black face (false), and 2) even if there are white dolls, it’s misogynistic to hang women from their necks in that display

I thought “Crack Pipe” was a clever theme for a float dedicated to the Sewerage and Water Board. The riders should have kept to the actual theme.
