Wonder how they lured her back. Must have scared the shite out of her
It's also entirely possible she's completely innocent and came back on her own in order to clear up her name.
Regardless, we should know more in the next day or two.

Was it weird to anyone else how fast we knew knew him and Marilou's name? Especially considering how little we knew about them 24 hours later? I mean, that shite was quick.
I mean they just looked in the system and saw who the room was booked to
From what others have said, sounds like all it would take is 1 MGM employee to look up the room and leak it.

Did anyone from the media ask him a follow up question to that statement? What was his response?

No. You just go down to the lobby and say who rented this room. It could be known the minute they found what room the gunfire was coming from. He had her player card in the room.

I'm still torn on the ISIS connection. Too many questions left to be answered.
Why did he send money on several occasions to the Philippines?
Most ISIS fighters don't shoot themselves. They either blow themselves up or are killed.
Why did he stop shooting?
What made a seemingly normal 65ish year old man not only plan this for God knows how long but actually go through with it?

I think it was something about financial transactions from the casinos

For goodness sake, they are in their 60s. What possible reasons could they have for living in different cities and dating?
Yes. Companionship, traveling partner, etc.

Can someone try and break down or explain the picture of him in the hotel where you can see the lower half of his torso...I'm no conspiracy theorist and as normal as us baws come, but how is his leg under his rifle mounted on the bipod? So you're saying he ended it sitting on the floor with his legs stretched out, with seemingly no field of view out of the window or towards the front door where a breach would have occurred? Unless I've looked at the room layout wrong, it just doesn't make sense to me, but then again nothing does in a situation like this.

I don't think it was a question of "how" in the press conference. It was more a question of IF he got radicalized. They want to figure that out as they still have no reported motive.

The room was like 1500-2000 sq ft. The windows he was shooting out of may have been in another room completely compared to where he shot himself. Yes its very likely that he shot at the security guard, grabbed the revolver, and paced around for a minute before killing himself. When his body collapsed he fell on a gun.
I mean he had like 20 guns in the room, many lying on the floor. So him falling on a gun is not unlikely at all.

For some reason I am really cheering for her to not be involved at all.
I really want to believe this nutjob was just that.. A man that snapped. No one else involved. No religions. No affiliations.
Seems pretty unlikely at this point, however.

Any news about press conferences today. From what was said yesterday, they expect to know a lot more within 48 hours of yesterday

It is still being determined which firearms were used in the shooting. All guns have been traced.
That's it from ATF.
Que? I thought there wasn't a database.
there isn't. when guns are used in a crime and subsequently seized by law enforcement, the agency will call the ATF and initiate a trace.
1. ATF calls the manufacturer, gives them the serial, and finds out which distributor it was sold to.
2. ATF calls the distributor and gives them the serial, and finds out which dealer it was sold to.
3. ATF calls the dealer and has them pull the 4473 (background check form with all the customer's info on it) from their records and they fax it to the ATF.
4. ATF contacts purchaser (if purchaser wasnt the perpetrator of the crime) and tries to determine what happened to the gun.
They're just basically saying that the above process was executed and completed. Guy bought everything legally if they were all successfully traced and had his name on the 4473

she had to of known something was up with him especially with him buying all those guns over the months. she may of not known he was going to do that attack but I bet she at the very least had a feeling he was going to do something.
an interview with her relatives overseas said that he actually sent her on the trip as a treat or something. but of course they would say something like that.
