Why do you expect human behavior and criminal activity to make sense? Too much tv?

Yeah this is a good point. My great aunt tried to date after her husband passed away, and it was eye opening. These older folks are super sketchy considering they've lived an entire life before meeting one another.

I have some body cam footage but it was sent to me on messenger, Can't really see anything just lots of gunfire and cops directing people to safety.

Since it is a belief among the psychology community that psychopathic genes can be heriditary, and since his dad was at one time on the FBI most wanted list, I would suppose it would be credible to believe that the FBI would also keep tabs on where his children are.
I honestly believe that his dad being who he was did have a profound impact on ultimately who this guy ended up being. Maybe he always had this sick thought of "out shining" his father, maybe there really is a "murder gene" passed down (Read the excellent fictional novel Defending Jacob that dives into this).
Obviously, this guy harbored some wild thoughts for years and finally decided to act upon them. Perhaps he was informed of having a terminal disease, like cancer, and decided to go out with a bang (poor choice of words).
The only, and I mean only, reason that I wished he was alive now is that he could be interviewed and evaluated further, so we as society could have learned something from this hideous monster.

I'd imagine in the months ahead, we'll see more complete footage released.
It always interests me to see how police respond in this situation. When I listened to the police scanner, a supervisor finally had to get on the air and tell his officers to calm down.

I agree, but a I think it's more self-fulfilling prophesy than genetic.

While possible, I think our knowledge of genetics is still in its infancy and thus I am not so quick to write off the possibility of his dad passing down bad genes.

I would guess serial numbers to see at which stores they were purchased and to confirm their legality (no filed off serial numbers; no stolen weapons; no true fully automatic weapons).
