When I was 13 to 15 I thought that I would’ve been able to handle it, but now looking back I can see the harm it would have done especially with the ones that push emotional stuff or start pushing kid to lie about even more stuff or worse.
I also think if teacher had a husband and kids that I would have been affected by family falling apart. At least afterwards. I would not have thought about it beforehand or during. It would have just been a reality that never would have crossed my mind until it did. I would have accepted the legend part amongst friends, but the family stuff would have stung more than I would have let on.
