Tennessee State Gov. has a passalong pension.
An example:
Coach Pat Head Summit died young of dementia. Her son was designated by her to receive her state pension and he will receive it for life.

In my opinion as long as my kid didn’t murder me I wouldn’t mind if they collected the money. I’m dead I’m not gonna know what’s going on

I'm getting crotchety in old age. Light the dude on fire. I have no need of anyone willing to do that to their mother. He froze her, but he gets the torch.

I have never seen one like that….only seen them with survivor options to include the spouse.
That doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Texas has these types of pensions. They are not uncommon.

I doubt she chose the “keep me in the freezer and pretend I’m alive” option.
It's what she would've wanted.

While I’m not disagreeing, you are most likely being extremely disingenuous with their payouts in the fact that they are likely so terrible that no one chooses them.
You can’t just have a pension pay out forever, the math simply doesn’t work unless the payout is dogshit.

For all we know, it could’ve been her idea

How did they catch him?
Was he writing cold checks?
Was he writing cold checks?

So since she was missing for 3 years was she 86 or 89 when he froze her? Because that's important for some reason

I read that as Penis at first. Made more sense to me over pens.
