Thankfully, Dirty Harry Callahan kept this from happening again.

In fairness, Marcia Clark and Chris Darden couldn't prosecute themselves out of a wet paper bag. Johnny Cochran(RIP) and Co.danced circles around those two.

Agree on Ito. He is a fricking idiot.

They really do. They love killing unborns, love corrupting children and trying to convert them to deviant lifestyles, love groups like NaMBLA, and planned parenthood, and always defend the most vicious child predators. They’re fricking disgusting.

But remember…”think about the children”.

They excavated a hole with a slope on one side and drove the bus in. It wasn't completely buried, just up to covering the windows, IIRC.

Nothing in that article mentioned plans to molest kids, so I'm not sure why you're using it here.

Why is this POS even alive 40 yrs later? Should have been executed 40 yrs ago.

Could have at least had the common courtesy to die before execution like DTL did.

A man who has been in prison for four decades after kidnapping a school bus of children and burying them alive in 1976

Californians can call me a crazy backwards redneck uneducated hillbilly all they want, but this dude sounds like a clear cut case of the use of the death penalty.

quote:

Judge William Newsom reduced all three men's life sentences in 1980 so they could have a chance at parole

SHOCKER. And they wonder why people continuously flee the state for other states in the Southeast (which have the death penalty and also don't have bums shitting all over streets downtown)

quote:

Nobody died and they all escaped the same day. He spent almost 50 years in prison. I think he learned his lesson.

Do you think he knew everyone would survive when he and his partners did it? As far as I'm concerned, even endangering the life of one child while not caring about the outcome should be punishable just like straight killing that child.

Did he know they would survive when he buried them alive? Isn't that essentially the same as him actually killing them?

Death penalty was declared unconstitutional in the period they committed the crime, plus no one actually died. The latter makes it impossible to impose the death penalty on them under the current interpretation of the constitution.

Doesn’t mean these frickers shouldn’t have had a couple of pipe hitting revelers go to work on them with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.

One of the kidnappers family owned a quarry or mining operation and buried them there.
