MASON, Ohio (WXIX/Gray News) - A man is dead and a suspect is in custody after a shooting Wednesday afternoon inside a Carter Lumber warehouse in Ohio, according to Mason police.
Officers were called to the facility around 1:15 p.m. for a report of a shooting inside the company’s door manufacturing facility.
“Initial reports advised an employee had been shot inside one of the warehouses,” a police officer said. “Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male.
David Cohen, 34, of Hamilton, was identified as the suspect and charged with murder.
Radio traffic obtained by WXIX captured officers responding to the scene. One transmission stated that, “the male unloaded a whole magazine into the co-worker” and that Cohen had fled toward the Butler/Warren county line in a gray Chevrolet Impala. Police located and arrested Cohen.
The man was shot 22 times, officials said.
Sources said Cohen left his job at Carter Lumber the previous week and returned to the facility to confront his boss. Investigators have not officially confirmed that detail.
The victim was identified as Vincent Stoetzel, 29. A friend described him as “funny and the kind of man you want to know,” adding that “he would give the shirt off his back, offer you a hot meal if you’re hungry. All around hardworking father making a good life for his family.”
Fornshell was present on scene during the investigation. A Mason police officer noted his presence, saying, “Prosecutor Fornshell is here obviously because we don’t have a lot of homicides in Mason.”
Carter Lumber released a statement saying the company is “deeply saddened” and that its focus is on “supporting our employees and everyone impacted by this tragic event.”

That’s just cold blooded murder. Victim was only 29. No way that was justified!

Hard working young family man killed because he had to fire some idiot who probably wasn't showing up for work and/or not doing his job while there.
This is a tragedy. Not the thug idiots that the Left hold up as heroes because they attack the police and get killed.

Soon we will be able to replace idiots like this with warehouse robots. And we will be free of the drama associated with having to share the workspace with feral sub humans. And he can sit at home and smoke weed and play video games until his heart explodes

Residents of the City and county appear to only be 4% to 5% black, so this checks out…
But even in single digit %s the problems are still there.
In the city whites are down to 60% due to Asians, but I don’t know which part of Asian their heritage is. Do Indians invade there like in Texas?
