We got 7 or 8 OM coaches. They know that team. OM coaches came to LSU, not the other way around. Unless you mean Wilson.

Not really; we gave up 24.
They ran 86 plays to our 54. Our defense was gassed due to an inept offense and still only gave up 24 to an OM team that averaged 37 ppg.
Our issue that day was our horrible offense.
LSU: 2026: Better coaching, every group on O is arguably better. Every group on D as well. And that D is even better with a competent O. Which we look to have.
Meanwhile OM has worse coaches; worse defense; worse receivers and O line.
We will see Sat; not saying it will be easy; but our chances look good.

Ole Miss would take the loss harder for several reasons:
OM made the 25 CFP. LSU was 7-6
OM returning Top 10 Heisman candidate their Quarterback
OM Ranked Higher Pre-Season (OM 10ish, LSU 15ish)
OM At Home
OM Lost their Coach to us, not the other way around
They will be devastated if they lose to us. I don't care who we lose to as long as we are better and make the CFP.
Hell, I'd rather beat Bama than OM if I had to choose 1 or the other. OM wouldn't say the same.

Lane had Preiskorn, or whatever his name was, perfectly positioned on alot of 3rd downs. It was magic....QB under pressure, slings to a WIDE OPEN TE.

We sent a scout team into Phipps but haven’t heard back. That was 18 months ago.
Fall back to the outlet malls in the northern burbs…..
