Air quality is a big deal if you have asthma or other lung issues. It can trigger some brutal issues. And that’s not really something you want to have to pull 1st responders for or tying up 911 lines.
Certainly, and on the list of important items that’s maybe in the top 100. It’s fairly obvious if there’s a fire upwind from you then air quality will be affected, the news doesn’t need to go on and on about it.

I know everyone wants to pile on with the water issues currently, but the frightening reality is that there are very few, if any, municipal water supplies around the whole country that could handle the capacity of water they need right now. Yesterday thousands of homes went up essentially at once in addition to spreading fire in the brush. Our systems aren't built to handle that flow rate.

This is heartbreaking to see. Someone on Fox said it earlier, it doesn't matter if your house is $5 million or $5000, this shite sucks and impacts everyone.

I don't see how that could happen, but I guess it's possible. That would be a hugely symbolic memory for everyone if that were to happen.

It’s honestly difficult and likely will never be known where politics ends and reality starts. You aren’t wrong, but at the same time they have been taking a lot of steps in the wrong directions to prevent these fires and handle them when they do happen.

There is almost no water for these firefighters to fight the fire with. Who gives a shite whether any other area of the country would have enough capacity to fight this fire. I'm sure just about every other area of the country would have some water to fight these fires

I’m not saying it’s the equivalent of September 11th but it would damn sure be one of those “I remember where I was that day” events.

The fire would have to jump the 405 and sepulveda Blvd. That's a shite ton of concrete, and I think the wind has died down.

I'm gonna try to refrain from the blame game but this is what happens when you have leftwing politicians guided by the wrong priorities.
This is the result of a lack of innovation, lack of proper resource management, lack of emergency resource planning, lack of community awareness, lack of community leadership, lack of city leadership, and too many unemployed millionaires.
