North Tangi might be taking one last tornado today with this cell working through northern Livingston.
St Helena between Montpelier and Greenberg, Tangi and Kentwood after that

The best development to this point is that the storms out in front of this mess in AL have remained sub-severe.
Also outside of currently warned cells, nothing else seems to be developing
Almost looks like it wants to line out

Confirmed - trashy hail protection of a moving blanket on the hood of the vehicle that doesn't fit in the garage is an effective hail deterrent. Lightning and heavy rain, but it seems we're safe from the tornadoes and hail, for now.

Temps in North Central AL have dropped 6-8° with this rain in advance of the storms.

Yeah it’s been raining off and on in south Tuscaloosa for over an hour with thunder in the distance. Hoping the storms in Mississippi weaken.

they were really generous with the "moderate" area today.
Shoulda just covered the whole continental US in red.

Must mean this entire event is a bust and we didn’t need a thread for it. Forget all of the tornadoes that have already occurred, are occurring and will occur today.
EDIT: That’s not directed toward you, but at the people who will complain after they don’t get a tornado.

We were fortunate missing those front line tornadic cells. I can be grateful. We’ll get some action in a bit.
