It's Chuck Mangione's grandson, Luigi.

I heard they call him Patsy in the family.

Yeah, a McDonald’s employee identifying him isn’t adding up to me given I’m still not confident that it’s him. He looks a bit off from the photos.
I can’t guarantee much about this case, but I can guarantee you will adhere fervently to some fringe conspiracy about all of this regardless of what comes out.

I regret to inform you, but this NYPD press conference is saying it's him.

ETA: you know, evidence and stuff.

I'd say he's already more successful than either of them. All they did is kill and injure some low level functionaries and didn't materially affect the institutions they were trying to bring down.
and what exactly has Luigi done?

You’re asking the wrong question. The real question is what is Mario about to do?

doubtful...insurance isn't going to change if doctors and hospitals aren't going to change...

insurance "changing" probably means higher rates...

There is very clearly a new rising in the West that blends masculinity, populism, sometimes faith, and often in "radical" amounts. I say this as someone who has a foot in it. It's been brewing for a while and has sort of a "liberalism (small l) isn't working" undertone.

One interesting thing is the old tools of the media/government in labeling this stuff may not be very effective - you can see how this is resonating on the fringe anti-capitalist left. That this guy may have written screeds about being anti-woke and how postmodern architecture crushes the human spirit is going to make it harder for MSNBC to tell us this guy was influenced by white nationalism and just too much bro culture or whatever the playbook might otherwise be.

And he just happened to be carrying a fake I'd with the same fake name that the killer used at the hotel?
With the gun, manifesto, fake ID, he should've just rode the bike to the McDs in Altoona straight from the crime scene.
