They are currently still looking in a Central Park pond for the gun...why would that be?
If there were anything there it would have already been found.

The taxi picture looks nothing like the picture from Starbucks.

Until it's verified the gun on the McDonald's guy is the murder weapon they're still going to be looking.

And this guy is still carrying the gun? He’s either a big dummy or this makes no sense.
IF this is him, then maybe when he realized that much of the public held sympathy for him and his position, he decided that he had a platform and would be the new populist Robin Hood, and didn't mind getting caught.

I think he planned on going out via suicide by cop and it didn't work out for him. That's why he had the manifesto on him.

What is this manifesto that you're referring to?

Surely he’s not dumb enough to still be carrying the murder weapon.
experts in the other thread swore this guy was a pro

Be wild and funny if this moron still had the gun on him and made it to Altoona in six days.
Could have driven a car deep into Latin America by now with a whole new look.
None of this makes any sense

Definitely not a professional

Perhaps it won't be him
"Nevermind, different guy - this wasn't the guy with the gun and suppressor and the healthcare manifesto, this was the guy with the gun and suppressor and the global warming manifesto"

Where is it reported he had a manifesto? Not even everyone is reporting the gun?

Still carrying weapon and only 4 hours outside of NYC in 5 days? Miiiiighty suspicious
Found the guy who has never met a criminal.

Not the guy. It's just not adding up.

5 days later and he is just aimlessly wandering around in and out of greyhound busses while still traveling with the murder weapon and the same fake ID (while having others on him) he used to check into a nearby hostel?

I don't think he was carrying the weapon, but police were able to see that he had a gun fitting that description registered to him.
Who knows though

I read that they were interviewing a guy with the same type of gun? Yeah we have so many one offs it’s easy to follow the gun.

What happened to all the posters who kept saying "this was a pro hit" / "he's a practiced assassin" / "he'll never get caught, he's just too good", based on their vast experience watching movies?
Posted on 12/9/24 at 11:39 am to Partha
I think that was on a different trip. He had a different jacket and backpack in the photos that I saw of his face.

Seems like different sources were fed different information.
One has a computer, one has a manifesto, trying to gauge what people will buy and then run with it.
