Does this mean I'll never get to see my son slide down the Indian mounds? He's 4 and has never been to an LSU game. Last year would have been his first but well... And now this?
Are you really going to let these fricking pantywaists stop you?
Who gives a shite what they think.

When does the name Indian Mounds become racist and it’s changed to Native American Mounds?

Griswold noted. “As of late, I have been asking the rhetorical question: ‘Would you allow someone to play on Stonehenge or the pyramids?’ We must think of the mounds in the same light. The sledding debacle, as well as this coming Student Government resolution, will serve as a wakeup call.”
That's gotta be the dumbest thing I'll read today.

I remember when my family realized there were signs saying you can’t climb those really old trees at the Mandeville Lakefront. No wonder all those old white people were always yelling at us.

I’m not going to care a few hundred years after I’m gone if somebody slides their arse over my grave. Maybe it’s different for indigenous people.

20 years ago when I went to LSU the Reveille was great for lining my birds’ cage with.

I mean, yeah, I just wasn’t surprised when I clicked the link to see who was crying. The reveille. Of course. Who else?

They fenced them off because driving on them
That was what the little brick wall around them was for. Before they had that, some chick got killed while making out on the top by some drunken idiot who drove up on them. The game day fencing is a much newer development.

Was anyone else a student there when the student was killed by someone driving their car over the mounds? That was in 80s and when the first barriers began appearing around the area.

Did LSU come out and say the Indian mounds were eroding because of the generations of people sliding down them?
I did The same thing as a kid but they are historical and we should probably try not to wreck them:

Uh, they can go frick themselves. Every time I take my kids to campus we run and slide down the mounds
There’s no one buried in there, and even if someone was, they don’t care
Hope you're proud of yourself.
