Clearly, last week’s debacle was not an isolated incident. It is simply the most recent iteration of a long history of relentless neglect and disrespect. The mounds have been subject to decades of abuse from generations of students, alumni and rowdy tailgate goers.

Uh, they can go frick themselves. Every time I take my kids to campus we run and slide down the mounds
There’s no one buried in there, and even if someone was, they don’t care

Wait, what? Haven’t kids and drunkards been doing this shite for years?

Others, keeping in mind the age and cultural significance of the mounds, were infuriated that not only such a thing could be allowed to happen but that a video of the incident could be happily passed around and laughed off as innocent college fun.
What a bunch of pussies.

I do not understand how people function on a daily basis when they get butt hurt over every little thing

I suspected there would be some sort of blowup after seeing the news report last week.

To be fair, this has always been an issue. Not that I care or agree with it, but they’ve been bitching about this since I was in college. Do y’all not remember them being temp-fenced off during home games a few years ago for the same reason?
Y’all got some short memories

This came up on Twitter and it took everything in me to actually read the whole dumb article. It’s on par for the Reveille, and it pissed me off and that was the writers point.
I think I slid down the mounds every football game day from age of 3-12. There were hundreds of kids. Think the Indians would be happy we didn’t bulldoze them and build a parking garage there.
