What if she was trying to run from someone? It's possible.

I had a good friend get hit and killed by a vehicle while riding his bike on Levee Road while we were at LSU late 90's /early 2000's.

Lights are not good. I wouldn't want to be walking any roads around LSU at night.

It’s not just around LSU, street lighting goes out and Entergy or whoever is responsible won’t fix the lights.

Live in Florida. Used to live on Fleming Island. My daughter comes home and says there is a girl that died at LSU that she knows through a close friend of the girl. I was like just read about that online. Would like to know what happened. Have to be cameras.

It’s starting to feel that way. You’d think more information would’ve come out by now, but it’s been quieter than a church mouse.

If it's a neighborhood, then whoever's property it's on needs to report it and they'll come fix it. It's pretty easy to fill out online.

She was accidentally hit by a car, what exactly is nefarious about that? Do you think she was forced to walk into traffic at gun point or something? Not everything has to be some law & order tv drama. Shitty things happen

It’s all over. Major streets, major intersection, etc.

For instance they just upgraded the W Lee, Nicholson, Brightside intersection. There were half a dozen fixtures lighting Nicholson South of Lee. Now only two work.

They do fix the lighting where I live, however. They are pretty good at that.

No I don’t think that at all. I shouldn’t have agreed with nefarious. It’s more questionable and suspicious. Maybe the reason she was in the road in the first place is either embarrassing (Tiktok?), or it casts a dark shadow on her friends or boyfriend if it was the result of a fight. Who knows at this point? Maybe the family doesn’t want that information to be made public.

Man this happened twice on Burbank while I was in college. One time a guy was walking black out in the middle of the road and got hit. Another time a guy was walking on the side and got run over by a drunk driver.

Hell my wife likes to tell the story of the time she picked me and 4 of my fraternity brothers up walking down the middle of Burbank after we all gave blood then went out to the bar (geniuses).

It’s not that Burbank right there is a particularly dangerous stretch of road, it’s that when it gets past midnight 100’s of blackout drunk college kids are staggering down that road back to their dorms/apts.

I've personally witnessed two separate incidents of drunk people stumbling into traffic and getting nailed. One guy rolled off the hood of a car, got back up and went back into The Corner bar in college Station. Another got tagged outside of Poag Mahones in Fort Worth. The impact took him out of his laced boots. Not sure if he made it or not.

Drunk people do drunk things. Some survive. Some don't.
