this isn’t added vegetation i’m referring to, it’s overgrown grass, weeds, brush. And that wouldn’t explain why some homeowners are having it weedeated to match the grass level in front of their property.

They want natural growth to solidify the soil and chemical balance while also not manicuring it while the project going on is practical. There’s still different things that are going to happen along the shores at different points. They are building up land at different points as well.

My only real issue has been with May street. They mismanaged that aspect imo.

Sinker Cypress is an extremely valuable wood. Research it.

Well aware. My statement still stands about the location making it something no one wants to deal with.

The contractor saying it is low grade leans towards that. Or that the cypress hasn't been down that long.

Trying to get a board milled or planed usually means a deposit for the cost of the blade due to these reasons.

How long do you think the cypress has been buried in mud under water?

Longer than a day? Beyond that I would be guessing.

If they were extremely valuable someone would be getting them.

Then you have forgotten what they looked like at the start. They were scum covered algae pits. They still have a long way to go though

I see. That makes sense. If that’s what Josh was trying to relay as well, my mistake.
