We did a campus tour last year for my kid and I was astonished by the amount of trash students walking around. I don't know what programs are being offered to in state kids, but there's no way a lot of them could qualify. I haven't looked, but the graduation rate has to be dropping. It was far worse on campus than I expected.
It's unfortunate. My kid fell in love with the campus, but doesn't want any part of the ghetto.

That is hard to hear. Unfortunately, I think the majority of college campuses are like that now.
I just know being at LSU from 85 - 89 were some of the best years of my life. I lived in the stadium, Kirby Smith, then off campus.

I could be wrong, but I believe the new President recently reinstated the ACT requirement. So this jackass was probably part of the classes that had no ACT requirement.
Regardless, your point stands. F. King Landry and Tate allowed LSU to turn into a ghetto. Rousse has work to do, but he’s at least taking steps in the right direction.

Yes, he did. However, their still is no "lowest ACT score requirement" yet. So, they do have to turn in an ACT score, but that is it.

A second degree murder indictment can only come from a grand jury in Louisiana because it carries life imprisonment. The DA can’t decide that unilaterally.
