The Quest Bar should be a good spot.

They'll have purple flags out.

To watch the game? Probably the Cajun Steamer. Not sure if that’s right but I can ask around.

Or hell, just come to the house. I’m cooking a pork roast from One Stop but I’ve already eaten all the boudin. My wife’s best friend (no pics of either) is an LSU fan so it will be a mixed company get together.

You don’t want us to see how badly you settled compared to a Tiger fan.

We understand, we’ve seen y’all’s very average variety of womenish-folk already.

Nice of you to offer the invite though.

Women are crazy but women from LA are a special kind of crazy. That’s a hard pass for me. Might be the humidity?

I would say I felt sorry for her husband but he’s a Tenn fan so he deserves it.

Interesting. I didn’t know that. The Red Lion is right around the corner. Best bar in the city.

Ate lunch there Saturday. Their satellites must be out of position because the picture on all their TVs kept going in and out.

Food was good though. Really like their burgers.

Cajun Seafood in Vestavia is a good venue and the food is good. I’m not sure how their crowd will be as I’ve never been to the LSU game there, but the wife and I enjoy the place.

You’ll need plans for afterwards. Rocky Ridge in Vestavia is a bedroom community and there won’t be much to do there after the game.

Is On Tap still open in Lakeside? I used to live not far from there and walked down the hill to watch games sometimes. It's far from a LSU bar but it had a pretty good mix of fan bases there.

The hotel bar at the days inn on 31 was always a trip.

I went there for the game. Nice enough place and the Alumni meets there. The bartender is a big Bama fan and was posting picts of LSU fan reactions when Bama scored. Such an ahole thing to do.

I got an Uber and went home at half. Needless to say, I won't be back there.

No. And not that it matters but that area is Lakeview (despite the fact there is no lake there). There is an On Tap out by the Galleria but that’s a ways out unless you live or are staying around there.

Agreed. In pretty much any circumstance but definitely with the alumni association meeting there.

Don't know about the game day atmosphere, but the food is good enough at the Cajun Seafood House in Vestavia. The red beans and rice is good, cheap, and large enough to get more than full. I seem to remember them having a pretty large television or projection on the wall.

I think it's just a restaurant but the Cajun Boys & Our Po Boys is owned by some LSU fans. They end all their radio commercials with a "Geaux Tigahs"
