For the game? Seems unlikely but may as well ask.

Our Place on 7th Avenue is normally where they go, I think.

Try a bar on Ensley Avenue.

Anywhere in Fairfield or Tarrant is probably your best bet.

You might die in some of these recommendations baw. Vestavia Hills is nice but I've never been to the place mentioned above.

Lol, I put it together, ....eventually. The Cajun place appears to be the winner.

My in laws live around there. It's a nice area. I've just never gone out of my way to eat at a Cajun restaurant in Alabama. It might be good though.

Agreed. But, If they serve beer, the rest will probably take care of itself.

Rougaroux in Forest Park is great. Poboys, Abita, and i imagine a great place for LSU fans to watch the game.

I’d stay up over the mountain and if you go downtown for beer hit Avondale, if you want mixed drinks hit Collins Bar.
5 points is where the recent grads go and it should be fun Friday night.
Have fun, I’ll be down there probably at Collins or tin roof if we decide to get after it.

Not aware of a go to place for LSU fans. In addition to the Cajun place in Vestavia (which I doubt will have the bar atmosphere you are looking for), there is Crazy Cajuns out on 280 and a Cajun place near the galleria I think. Both are more restaurants than bars.

LSU Alumni Birmingham
Might want to try the Cajun Seafood House. Alumni will be there Friday night but may also be a good viewing place.

No problem
But, I've read enough posts about BR to know not to go "north of Florida"

That's a very general rule but a decent one to follow. My wife lived on Avenue E in Ensley when she was little. She said it wasn't that bad in the early 80s.
I drive through there or Wylam going to her aunt's house in Maytown fairly often. That's pretty much what all of NBR is like. Different architecture, same situation.
