IDGAF if median LA is spending 12% of their income on health insurance. Most of them have to pay for private school, to nearly the same percentage (I'm guessing based on what my ex wife pays in TX). Choices have consequences.

I pay $800 a month for insurance.
$187 for Medicare (supplemental required with my diagnosis)
Monthly finance of $250 for hospital
And $1000 in copays.
I'm billed nearly $12k a month but the above is what I pay.
Self employed with ESRD.

Take it a step further and add in your deductibles. Then see how much you have to spend before you get paid a dime.

It's almost like all of those cities have a massive population that doesn't work, lives on welfare and takes advantage of a system by milking it, causing rates to skyrocket for the rest of us with their extremely high crime rates as well.

I wonder if there was consideration into deductibles, copays, and other costs of healthcare care exasperating the true costs of healthcare.
Where you might get hit with a yearly 20-30k max out of pocket deductibles, and premiums of 20-30k a year.

Dude my family premium went up to $810 a month this year. Was like $500/mo previous years. Nuts.
