“Inbred” should probably be its own race on 47.

If you can take one look at a picture of someone from that state and clearly identify their relatives, without knowing anything else about them, there isn’t enough chlorine in the gene pool.

Again, another reason to get the heck out. I don't understand why those that are able, don't get out of the crap hole that is LA.

Liberal cities (not as extreme as San Francisco) that put money into parks, schools, and their communities are often nice places to live.

They’re also loaded with people with means, and attractive employment opportunities which attracts more educated people, which allows them to afford such a lifestyle. NOT SO MUCH with cities with large minority populations, high crime, and po dunk job opportunities. They can’t even get out of the ditch to see the importance of investing in anything. They’re always operating from behind the eight ball.

IN SHORT, it’s easy to invest in a liberal utopia when you don’t face the harsh consequences of the real life other people are faced with every day.

Right

Which is why people like Senitrius who think cutting taxes here will automatically bring us to some utopian state are hilariously misguided

This state will be poor and shitty as long as the majority of its populace is apathetic and ignorant

No we don't, maybe more than Maine, Vermont, and NH but go visit a midwestern state or the rust belt, or Arizona/New Mexico and see all the white trash they have

Look at the demographics of these places and the per capita income of its residents

Fairhope, Al sure isn't a dump and it's republican run but it's all about demographics and the money the population has

Most does not equal about 5?

I was in the middle of nowhere Colorado in a nice place last year and it was like a meth convention around town

Dude get fricked.

Putting words in other people’s mouth is what liberals do.

What I said is that you will never ever be able to do anything of note towards improving the state if we don’t have a pro growth, pro business and pro family tax code to go with a healthy legal climate that the private sector can thrive in.

With the foundation set, and then and only then and not before, you can really try to improve this state towards getting rid of the glut of government we have, attracting population that will help us stifle corruption and special interests, moving our education system to charter schools, getting rid of the glut of higher education, and upgrading our infrastructure.

This can all lead to a new state constitution that we need so badly.

Whining about white trash and ghetto hoodrats, truthful and as sexy and rage fulfilling it may be, is only whining about a symptom.

Edwards is correct. Ranking Utah #49 for natural environment is an absolute joke.

Should be top 5 probably. Some of the most beautiful natural landscape on the entire planet.

I would like to know which states infrastructure scored lower than Louisiana

I would bet Mississippi.

Jackson is like a small Southern Detroit. It's horrific. Streets are caving in, there are constant boil water alerts, they can't pay their public servants like police and fire departments on time.

Its crazy how shitty it has become since the entire tax base moved to Madison and Ridgeland.

And why is the economy in the shitter? I suppose Jindal had nothing to do with it in your mind.

there are 2 things Louisiana is good at.

Coming in last on good lists and coming in first on bad lists.
