Why even bother with these lists? People know what the outcome is before they even come out.
I agree. Who cares? Is it better to live in Vermont?

Just curious, what's the racial makeup of these states compared to the bottom three or four?

87 percent white
New England states are practically all white.

Can you believe we still have idiots that would rather bury their heads in the sand and pretend this state doesn’t have SERIOUS problems, that to acknowledge them and have a chance to change it?
Louisiana residents, as a whole, reject progress out of pure insecurity. “Dem Dey havs grate roads but fuk dat, Dey ain’t frickin better then me dammit”
Imagine the progress the state could make it the residents stopped thinking out of insecurity and a willingness to defend such a fricked up state based purely on a few subjective metrics like “good food” and “friendly people”, something which 49 other states have. We are trying to govern like it’s still 1960 and that mentality just ain’t gonna get it done anymore.

Tiny part of the state?
Memphis metro is literally 20% of Tennessee's population.
But trust me, we would rather not be in your backwards-arse state neither.

I've seen statistics where if you only include whites from AL or MS or LA their standard of living measurements are comparable to Vermont

I've seen bullshite statistics too.

Have you been to Vermont?
Posted on 5/14/19 at 11:37 pm to genro
Yeah it's the more upscale version of New Hampshire.

Vermont and New Hampshire, along with upstate NY (to a lesser extent) are wonderful. Weather isn't optimum, however.
Snow is nice, but only to visit.
That said, I'm European, and cannot deal with the inhuman heat and humidity of Georgia.
