Jackson is like a small Southern Detroit. It's horrific. Streets are caving in, there are constant boil water alerts, they can't pay their public servants like police and fire departments on time.

Then you had in the Delta towns which are borderline 3rd world.

Tunica, and Tchula just got underground sewage and drinkable water in parts of town in the last 20 years

No we don't, maybe more than Maine, Vermont, and NH but go visit a midwestern state or the rust belt, or Arizona/New Mexico and see all the white trash they have

Yep. Easy to see who hasnt travelled the US very much.

Maine is redneck as hell away from the coast. Probably a better class of redneck though.

Yeah couple of years in and it's all Edward's fault.

Let's not mention 8 years under Piyush's reign...

at what point do you stop blaming the previous governor? I mean shite, we can blame Blanco AKA Clarabelle if you want to play this shite.

JBE is in charge. Responsibility lies with him.

The true coastal areas of WA are not wealthy.

I know you're thinking Seattle etc because it's near the water but it's the Puget Sound not the coast.

I was thinking Seattle, Bellingham etc. I spent a few summers in that area as a teen.

Still not so good. I live in Aberdeen.

Eta....not a lot of good paying jobs here. People aren't smart enough to leave and find something better.

Less,by a pretty wide margin

I'm talking more about the tattoo'd up, druggie types more than rednecks. South Louisiana and mississippi gulf coast are full of them.

My philandering ways and drinking started after I had been here 6 years. Things were normal but boring in Louisiana for me.

Do you?

I actually kind of like the area but working class people dont bother me.

The worst town in Washington I've encountered was Concrete.

The area isn't bad. Nothing here besides outdoor activities.

Luckily I know how to cook because most of the food here is crap.
