How many days from the date La dropped below 1 on the estimated Rt before hospitalizations began decline?
Hospitals saw their first day of decline 12 days later on August 18th
Its almost like its science

Hopefully with the FDA approving the Pfizer shot, we'll see a huge jump in vaccinations and we can reach the bottom soon.
FDA approval was never what was keeping anti vaxxers from taking it.
It was just the most convenient excuse.
These types always adjust the goalpost.

Case rate continues to fall.
The one interesting:
Case rate for 5-17 year olds has eclipsed the case rate for 18-29 year olds for the first time ever. Interesting.

The State of Louisiana.

5-17 year olds are getting tested more now than ever before because of school just going back
I would expect to see a pretty sizeable bump in 18-29 when college goes back and that testing starts

Arkansas's R(t) fell below 1 on August 4th
Hospitals peaked on August 16th.
ETA: Almost exactly the same despite Arkansas not mask mandating nor vaccine passporting.

Yeah, man, but it’s not the science approved by the Party or the Ministry of Truth. So, it’s not real science.

Sure some did....some probably left, but none of these 161 beds were filled by someone else who needed them
