Disconcerting that it is not going away.
Thought the heat would wipe it out

Didn’t the state recently say to save tests for symptomatic people? That’s gonna push the positivity rate up

With this massive increase in cases lately, why are more people not dying?

Are the number of cases being manipulated? Because deaths aren’t really increasing.

Would be crazy if the virus can remain dormant for two weeks

This crap is like a freight train, just keeps going forward. While we still have treatment capacity, it is clearly wide spread in the community, like everywhere.

I guess we will learn over the next few weeks or months if community wide immunity forms through wide exposure.

we can safely forget about warm weather burning it off.

Yes, but the real reason is this virus appears to mostly kill those at the highest risk. They caught that early and that’s why we had the massive death spike.

I felt great when the cases started dropping as the temperatures rose. Now it’s spiked, so looks like heat does nothing.

Edwards said yesterday that he will not impose additional restrictions. Up to now the administration has been very consistent in its comments.

Numbers have gone up but we don’t get near the COVID calls on ambulance like we were getting. A couple months back we were transporting 3-4 COVID or possible COVID calls a day. Now I may get one a week
