Looking at New York, it seems like this is very likely. I don’t know much about viral mutations, but it looks like we might have some form of quasi herd immunity going into the fall.

they will claim that deaths are a lagging indicator. Except that it is not happening in any appreciable manner. The trend line overall hasc been downward with some daily spikes.

These numbers look good to me. There is no reason to put us back in Phase 1. In fact I hope the delay moving to Phase 3 is just another 2-3 weeks.
It looks like the more serious cases are over and we are starting to trend down again.

As one of the most right leaning members of this forum and huge JBE critic, I do not think he’s handled this poorly. If you look at the policies of the D and R governors, JBE has been much closer to the Repubs. I think he’s a shitty governor, but he has handled this well other than some fear-mongering.

Yes you can see a breakdown of hospitalizations per region on the LDH dashboard. At the top of the hositalization and vent screen you will find a drop down menu to select the region you want to see.
