We're just gonna have to hit herd status soon.
Sweden is at like 5 deaths 7 day average.
Spain , France, England etc.
All down like 95% or more from peak.
This thing will just run its course.

HVAC has been a big reason for the rapid surge in the south. It's been mentioned by many infectious disease experts past 4 weeks and a lot of research being done on that now.

We're still 721 less hospitalizations that we were on April 13 ... Blake Migues confirmed to me that the NOLA convention center "hospital" IS still open SO why are we worried about space????

Shouldn’t be worried about overrunning them right now. Space is what we should be watching. We also need to shift people around to make space at high demand areas. BR and NOLA aren’t really that far from LC and Laffy

Add New York and Italy to that. Very few cases now.

New York is barely even open.
I haven't really found anywhere, that had significant infection, open up and control the outbreak.
Sweden is the closest thing. Which their government seems more intent on proving how to live with this rather than stopping it.

I'm not personally worried -- I just wish they'd quit the fear mongering stuff. We had a resident at the nursing home who contracted covid; comatose and on a tube feeding. She got to be more than the staff could handle so she went to the hospital and ended up on either bi-pap or vent. Either way, she stabilized but with the bi-pap/vent situation, we couldn't take her back. A bed was found for her, maybe 2 hours from her family BUT A BED WAS FOUND.
That's sort of how I feel about this. There ARE BEDS. Just maybe not in your town, which is inconvenient BUT IT'S A BED. Right??
I'm gonna need crazy pills for the craziness this crap has created for me mentally. Sheesh.

I was just communicating with counterpart there this morning. He's headed to mother in law's in Berlin for weekend.
Kids are in school.
If weren't very near herd status they'd have way more shite.
