Let’s stop living in fear, start isolating those at highest risk, and go about our lives.
That sir is common sense and that's not allowed.
The media has convinced the low IQ's that we are dealing with an Ebola like plague. The politicians are either on a power trip, scared to look like they don't care, or just too stupid themselves to make good decisions(this would be the one Latoya falls under so she just relies on a loon to give her direction).

Of course the numbers are dropping. Federal funding is going down and the chance of mail in ballots for the election is looking less and less as each day passes. No reason to keep us shutdown much longer

The numbers were always going down. The mask mandate came at the exact same time as the peak and jbe new it. Makes him look like a hero.

Lafayette hospitals are still refusing to take on non covid patients that need inpatient surgeries. People that need critical surgeries that have been postponed are not living long enough. The LGMC ceo reported that they were overwhelmed with patients, but now their staff is sick. Even the staff who returns from a covid infection are too fatigued to work normally. Kinda crazy! 96 deaths in lafayette parish from covid but I’d suspect a comparable amount of deaths that could have been prevented if people were taking care and seeing their providers.
Sounds like "Made up Accusations for $1000, Alex" to me.

No one bothers to look at the graph and most people refuse to believe it.
How dare you challenge the all mighty mask.

Subjectively speaking, graphs actually affirm that respective restrictions have helped immensely at each stage of new restriction. Don’t know what you’re looking at.

He is looking at this one, which shows the peak happened precisely when the mask mandate took place, which means infections more than likely peaked 1-2 weeks before the peak/mask mandate

They never did update yesterday's cases and tests.
does it really matter?
more than half the tests from any given day or usually a week to 2 weeks old anyway. There's nothing in there that's accurate for today.

I’ve had my own surgery canceled twice. First was scheduled late March. Second July 27. Inpatient medically necessary general surgery. Essential.. to me. Spoke with my surgeon yesterday and he said 1 cardiac surgery taking place per day when lgmc normally does 7-10. He reported patients in that group have died before getting what they needed. Maybe he was lying.
Also told that Covid cases in the hospital are going down.
ETA: By "cases" I'm referring to surgery cases in that first sentence.

It is absolute insanity that we are still doing 20,000 tests a day
How else are we supposed to get the % positive down?

Exactly, monitoring the daily releases has become pointless. It gives a false sense of data.

Daily releases are good for the hospital numbers
Posted on 8/11/20 at 1:53 pm to burdman
And the hospital numbers don't matter as much as what the hospital execs are saying.

He's not even sure if it's related to covid or not, but had to drop that.

4/11,500 kids under 18 have died
that is 0.03% of just confirmed cases
Just move on JBE
