I’m glad I was to dumb to figure out what an NFT was. Sounds like I saved myself some money

NFTs were just gonna be another way of saying “it’s a club, and you ain’t in it”. This was gonna be like a country club for tech bros, and you’d have to have the right NFTs for acceptance in their world.

Just following the way of crypto in general with new projects.

Yeah no shite Sherlock. This was obvious from the jump.

I am constantly amazed at how so many tech bros are a weird arse combination of incredibly smart and mind numbingly stupid.

NFTs became the hot thing.

Jones: If you think they are worthless then you just don't understand.

NFTs get exposed.

Jones: I knew that shite was going to happen. That's why I invested in them.

I've asked numerous times, pertaining to art photography NFTs exclusively, how the secondary market has been going with them. Not many people want to talk about it.

It is one thing to ride a wave and sell a bunch of photographs that prior to the NFT craze had minimal value. It is an entirely different thing when you start speculating on real value. There has to be a real collector's market with demand if those NFTs are to carry value and appreciate. That market didn't really exist to any scale prior to NFTs coming along. Not many people speak on that, and accounting for the fact that a big part of NFT allure has been the percentage an artist gets at every resale. Well, if the pieces can't be sold, especially for profit, that shoots a big ol' hole in the NFT boat.

They specialize in whatever makes them “tech”… it’s why they call people like us fans of “sports ball”. If they do root for a team they have to ask basic questions about what they’re watching

Stupid people and their money - Ill just never understand the craze. Eventually the Funko pop toys are going to collapse and a lot of adult sized children will be in shambles over it just like how GenX was over beanie babies.

There’s a collectors market for Funko Pops?

I figured those things were just cat nip for the CONSOOMERs, and for the normies, it’s a way to “be a part of the current thing”.

That goes for any group in a narrow field that requires esoteric knowledge. They tend to get detached from reality. If you've ever been cornered at a party by a neurosurgeon espousing his social-political-economic views...

This is a shocking turn of events.

People don’t want to own those awesome ape pics as a long term investment? I thought people were going to hang them on their digital wall and impress all their dinner party guests.

Seriously, props to folks who got in early on the scam and made money.

I don’t either but they all knew it was bullshite, the whole scam was to just not be the last person caught holding the bag. Anyone sincerely trying to argue the actual value of an NFT is an idiot.
