Those are both drivers, which are generally more casual than a typical loafer. What type are you looking for?

I often equate the two but you're right. More of a driver is what I'm interested in.

Those look like things little girls wear.
If you’re a guy, why do you like such dainty looking shoes?
And kudos on your battery charge.

I gotta ask, how do you guys maintain testosterone levels in loafers?
Loafers are the gayest looking shoe ever. No one ever looks good in loafers. Even gay guys think loafers are way too gay.
If I have my first consultation with a lawyer and that immoral prick (this insult is directed to attorneys and not the gays) is wearing loafers, he’s way too soft to be my attorney.

If you want to stay with the driving loafer look my three favorites are:
Oliver Cabell Driver
Scarroso Michael loafer
My favorite are TOD'S City Gommino, they are above your price range but they can sometimes be found on sale around $300. They have several styles and a huge array of colors and types of leather.

These are better. I’d consider them. I’m in the market as well, and these aren’t quite there.

Gayer than Richard Simmons backstage at a Backstreet Boys concert, in a port-a-potty, sucking the cream filling out of a Twinkie .

Your not a real man unless you wear fishing shirts, crocks, and live in Denham

I always wanted a pair like these, but there's no way I would pay $1K for a pair of shoes.

I was interested in something like this about 3 or 4 years ago, and the price was under $800. Like everything else, price has increased significantly.
I am a fan of Mezlan, but they may still be out of what you are looking to spend.
