Not sure about your shoe size, but I have a pair of Lucchese Black Cherry Caimans size 11D listed on eBay right now that is below your target price.

tecovas

Tecovas crocs are $2200.

Overall, Tecovas prices are much higher than they were.

Best exotics are going to be at a custom boot make and probably 6k+.

For $400 to 800 I would look at Tecovas.

He can get a pair of USA built custom exotics built in his price range but it won't be a true custom size built for the size and shape of his feet, ankles and calves.

If OP is certain of his size in a particular brand, he can have the builder use an off the shelf last that would produce a similar sized pair as he would find on the rack of a boot store.

Although there are some good boots built in Leon, MX, I don't consider Tecovas to be one of them. The brand does however have a excellent marketing technique and does offer lines of exotics that would fall into his price range though.

I have 2 sets of tecovas. One Caiman and full quill ostrich, both are great. And I have an old pair of Luchesse alligator. Those are great too but now they are more than $800

OT, if I ever post shite like this, please hunt me down and shoot me. I will consent.

I couldn't tell anyone the brand or material of any of my shoes. Best I can do is say a few of them probably cost more than $100. That is my goal.

I have had them all....except a pair of Leddy's

Anderson Bean can't be beat right now.

For a production boot, the set styles that AB makes today are absolute magic.

In that price range probably looking at Tecovas, Arita on the lower end. On the upper end look at Rios of Mercedes, maybe Black Jack.

Don't go cowboy boots. Get you some JK handmade boots from Spokane, WA. These are the JK Forefronts I'm wearing today.

Toughest boots you can get. I own 6 pairs of JKs with #7 ordered and will take about 2-3 months of wait time to be built.

100% the most comfortable boot. I can walk 12-15k steps working at HLSR and not be in pain.

Yep. But these are Goodyear welted recraftable. They can be resoled four or five times.
