Claiming a few random players disagreeing w/your politics equals "they hate America" therefore aren't good enough as Americans to root for when they go against the world as members of Team USA is some pathetic bitch made horseshite.

IDGAF who is wearing our colors b/c once they have them on they are OUR fricking team. If you can't put your politics aside for that you're just a whiny little bitch who should quit watching all sports b/c every single team has a bunch of dudes on it who don't agree w/you.

Nice emotional rant, but you still didn’t address the point.

There’s a difference between not supporting a particular Team USA because you believe it poorly represents the country and rooting against the United States itself.

You keep pretending those are the same thing because it’s easier than addressing the nuance. Well played, bud.

I don’t think Trump did the U.S. team any favors; it’s routine that he becomes a distraction.

frick people who don't like this country and yet live in it. I don't give a shite who is president. I was always told by my dad that if the person you voted for didn't win, you support the person who was voted in because.. Everyone should want the best for the US. Somewhere in the 2010s this country lost this.. I blame social media for a lot of it, but this mindset that because you don't like the person who was elected so you are not going to support anything he does and hope he fails, etc is insane.

There are people on the right who do the same shite. So ask yourself, if this was the other way around how would you respond?

I addressed it already. I don't agree w/your notion that people who differ from you politically hate the country. It's a ridiculous position to take. Boo hoo somebody don't like things you think are ok. I guess they hate America now.

Nice straw man. You keep replacing “this particular Team USA doesn’t represent America well” with “everyone who disagrees with me hates America.” Those aren’t even close to the same argument. Anything else?

No one should be surprised he couldn’t keep his mouth shut. No matter what he says or does, for better or worse, his ego will always come out.
