Always laughed at the people in Valdosta that would dress like they were in the Alps while it was 65 degrees in December.

Sounds like cruise ship passengers here in summer. You would think they were skiing in Whistler.

South Louisiana can’t get cold without a front moving through; so it’s always a bitter windy chill; there cannot be still cold days like further north.

Can confirm. It’s 14 where I am at right now and I was outside in shorts and a fleece

That was my assumption.

And then I brought two guys from Saskatchewan hunting down here. It was maybe 32 and they were laughing at how warm I was dressing.

10 minutes in the boat ride and those two baws were under my coat and hiding behind me and another guy as a wind block.

The ohio river and missouri are the only other two places I've been bone chilling.

Coats are one of those things where money makes a big difference. I bought a Sitka set for duck hunting with one of the discount codes the OB was throwing around last year. I have a fairly expensive one I got from Bass Pro years ago that’s about twice the size as the Sitka one. I’ve never been more comfortable in the cold. It’s pretty insane

It’s 41 degrees on the north shore, how ever will I survive?

Thank goodness I brought my winter gear.

I laugh at some of these people sucking air in Louisiana’s heat. We work in the heat of the day here. It’s still hot, but we aren’t dying when it’s mid 80s outside, lol.

This is why SEC teams play like shite in the cold.

All of yall are softies when it gets cold.

After living up in Minnesota, Montana, and Michigan for a few years...you'll never hear me whine about the cold down South again.

A man is prepared. Walking around in a hoodie when it is in the 30s is just childish.
