So Ard is sticking with the claim that his office didn’t know that the restraining order in 2011 against Perkins was for their deputy because the order had his proper name which no one at that department knew him about.
Best case scenario, you're grossly incompetent because you can't take two fricking seconds to figure out the identity of this supposed stranger, who has a name awfully similar to someone you consider "family".

I heard that Perkins computer had folders/files on all the deputies past and present, Willie included. Perkins was also hired under Willie's tenure. I don't think you'll be hearing from Mr. William anytime soon.

It went across some secretaries desk that stamped it without looking at it (probably a deputies wife) & it got filed away
Or she noticed the name & went to Willie with it & he choose not to put it in Perkins file
This whole situation shows that everything from procedures to paperwork is mismanaged

It’s wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the Feds came in and seized computers at LPSO. They all feel too safe and I bet perkins got careless and used office computers to do stuff.

Don’t know specifics but a best guess is that he was tabbed as the successor when the last sheriff walked away.
Seems to be par for the course in sheriff offices in this state, hence why Murphy Painter was bitching about it getting the job running the APSO after cleaning up the prior sheriff’s DUI homicide and covering up for someone who had raped a 12 year old while he was a deputy there.

Not that it matters, but I saw the report on WAFB. It asked if he ever used marijuana and he checked yes. I didn't think that was a big deal (because many people have tried marijuana and a lot of those people would not have checked yes), but then on the same form it asked if he ever stole from an employer he checked yes and that's a bigger red flag than smoking marijuana.

Just read all 73 pages of this thread and WOW. I don’t even know where to begin the list after reading all these pages and watching those interviews. That press conference was amazing in a pathetic, somebody stop this guy way. WOW.
