Well as I’ve said before Louisiana doesn’t have a monopoly in sick fricks. This doesn’t reflect on this state as you can find these types of deviants everywhere. We are just in the thick of it and here our local news. And I believe these 2 are going away for a long time.

And, sorry to veer slightly political- but i think we should all realize that these things aren’t confined to a particular political party or affiliation.. Looking through this guy Perkins’ Facebook, it’s filled with a lot of pics of him hunting and fishing, ‘Merica type stuff and he lives in Livingston Parish, La.. so i think it’s safe to say he didnt vote for Obama.. i’m Generalizing, sue me... But this also happens with people who lean left ideologically (see: Epstein, Jeffrey- though he had ties to politicians of all stripes, not just Clintons).. this type of sickness is equal opportunity.

My daughter was also in her class this year. She says the treats were never offered to her class all year and she didn’t partake if so. Not sure how true that one was at all because I’ve heard multiple kids parents come back with the no treats answer. I asked what the kids were saying about the treats and she said that they thought Perkin’s may have put drugs or alcohol in them. She also said that all the kids were talking about it and there was all kinds of rumors going around that the kids were making up. The kids were being just as harsh as the adults. Im so proud!!! ??

All of the teachers photos and personal items were removed from the classroom. Perkin’s decorations were still up. No more family pics of her kids on her family board. A plaque of some kind about the teacher was removed that was on display somewhere else at the school. Librarian was the sub for all of her classes until Perkin’s replacement is found. Multi police units outside the school. All faculty were instructed to not mention the teachers name whatsoever. My daughter said it was weird when they called her class for recess or something because they couldn’t say “Perkin’s class” over the intercom because of this new rule. She said all students were at school the next day. No one really kept their kids from school after the news. No call feom the school. No questioning the students or mention of the teacher at all at school from faculty.

Other than that school was pretty normal as usual.

Steele and Sheriff Jason Ard were not working for the sheriff's office in 2011 when the protective order was filed, but Steele claimed in her text messages that LPSO had no knowledge of it.

This document shows the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office received the restraining order on September 14, 2011.

The WBRZ Investigative Unit also confirmed it was the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office that served Perkins with the restraining order. So, how they did not have knowledge about it is a mystery.

OMG! This is getting a little ridiculous! I worked on this case referred to in this article and there is more to the story than they are leading people to believe. I am certainly shocked at the charges Denny… More and his wife are facing, and I'm not defending them by no means, but this is a fine example of how the media can twist a story to make someone seem worse. Before judging someone in any situation, just know there is ALWAYS three sides to every story. His, hers and the TRUTH! Prayers for all involved!

They do say both weren’t with the office but I’m guessing they meant he wasn’t sheriff at the time. Should correct the article.

And I believe Lori Steele might have been working with WBRZ at the time as a reporter.
