Congratulations you are correct. The aliens are actually our own AI robots from the future. I saw this movie once.

Yeah, but I'd like to see it try and work the lunch rush at your local Wendy's. No way it can exceed the standards of the local OT baller in that capacity.

Umm, no offense to the humanoid robot, but that thing is slow as shite. A human would be written up for that kinda bullshite work.

This is the worst it will ever perform. Wait until they're plugged into the computational power of a thousand data centers.

A future version of it could in theory. But yeah that thing isn't that efficient at a very menial task

Maybe, but it makes up for it with zero pee /smoke breaks, works 24/7, no harassment or HR grievances and oh yeah…works for free!

humanoid robot
I know it's incorrect, but I can't stop thinking that it needs to report to the dance floor.

I think I can tell a difference in how fast they are working compared to yesterday.

More than offset by the fact it can work 24 hrs a day without stop for lunch or breaks.

This million dollar piece of equipment isn’t replacing an illegal Rosita anytime soon.

This is the worst these robots will ever be. There’s constant innovation and progress being made. “Soon” is relative. The workforce as we know it will be fading away within a decade. Some think we’re as soon as 5 years away from it being unrecognizable

First, to address the million-dollar issue the ones shown are supposed to be in the sub-30k range.

You can watch these robots get better in real time. They are having a lot less trouble with boxes and white packages than they did just a few hours ago.

They brought in a new "guy" without a name.

Even if the robot works at 10% speed it's vastly superior.

It can work 24 hours a day, it doesn't get paid a salary or benefits, it won't steal anything, it will never call in sick or hungover, it doesn't take holidays or paternity leave.

So it should be illegal.

Watching these robots especially the learning curve, I can help but think of all the "learn a trade" threads. You can't tell me robots plus AI won't be able to weld, every process, every exotic, all environmental conditions, with perfect penetration every time. A 6G test would be child's play for them in short order.

Working three straight days without stopping to eat or sleep. This humanoid is like the meth head of the future!
