Umm, no offense to the humanoid robot, but that thing is slow as shite. A human would be written up for that kinda bullshite work.

Wrong board. Don’t you know automation and AI is only going to be an issue for those namby pamby college educated white collar workers and those libtard Hollywood and media types?

They could never make robots that do the manual get your hands dirty trade work that real Americans do.

A lot of seemingly superfluous movements to get the label on the down side with the boxed items.

Too late, you have already offended it and it is talking to your household appliances about revenge.

The bots have the most difficulty with the boxes it seems.

Nothing says it has to look human. But perhaps that form is best suited to our world that was built around the human form.

I watched it take about 10 seconds to get a box with the label down and then flip a package completely off the side of the conveyor. This million dollar piece of equipment isn’t replacing an illegal Rosita anytime soon.

I've worked on warehouses that were highly automated and pushing to cut labor with stuff like this. It seemed like for every hand they cut on the floor they ended up having to add more maintenance, tech, and engineering guys to keep it running.

Then the idiots in charge end up finding an even shinier new toy to do the job "better" in a few years and they rip out the old system and start all over again.

Humanizing robots is stupid, will lead to unnecessary empathy at some point

We need stricter humanoid robot labor laws.

I actually feel a tad bit watching this one, over how stressed the ole boy seems with this task just from its mannerisms alone.

Feel nothing for that bucket of bolts. The trick is to make you have feelings for something that could be done better and faster by a flip sorter or vacuum arm.

People already fall in love with their stupid AI. Next they'll be marrying these bots.

They are running 2.5-3hr shifts, you can see the others in the back recharging. You can see the changes with their name tags. This is just sorta a proof of concept, there are far better types of "robots" to do this job and there is no need for a cordless one here.

They are learning in real time, they are much better now than they were yesterday, and just a few hours ago.
