If his new roommates are from Baton Rouge, he probably won't have to look for trouble. It'll find him.

If substance abuse is actually the issue here.

I don't know.

I'm pretty sure the Alaska street country club is shut down though.

I don't know if I could live in BR as an addict. Besides that point, it is a college town. He could use his time in BR and enroll in BRCC to get an associates degree or learn a trade.

It's not that far away. There's BRCC, CCLA and UClub. BRCC seems the mostly likely to have rental properties close by.

Yeah, I am worried now after reading some of this. His reasoning for staying in Lousiana was that if he moved back to Alabama his old crew would help him relapse. I really hope he can stay level headed. I will find out what street he lives on and add it to the thread in a bit. Gonna give him a call in a few.

Baton Rouge has an incredible recovery presence. Tell him to find a home group ASAP. This should be at the top of his list right after finding a place to stay.

Gardere isn't even that far from UClub... he could be in trouble.

The only way to have any fun in BR is to be absolutely shithammered drunk and or on drugs. He should have moved to Lafayette.

Get his arse to Reggie's and get mud checked as soon as possible.

Also Stay out of the left lane unless is doing 20-30 over.

Truck nuts are optional but highly recommended if he plans to go west of the basin bridge.
