I didn't research but there would seem to be a lot more to this story.
There are legitimate reasons for someone to go off-grid many of which could have been her fault.
It seems very odd a father of a grown child would commit suicide barely two weeks after someone went missing just based on despair, hope might be dwindling at that point but unlikely to be gone.
For all I know her disappearance was family-related, and the father committed (this weird) suicide as a result of guilt.
The whole thing could have been attention-seeking or maybe not. It is easy to say it is attention seeking now but it is also possible to just feel the need to push back on the character assassination.
Not saying anything is or is not true it is just the information presented is a little thin to assign blame IMO.

you are correct...i am willing to admit that my opinion is only based on what is known publicly about the case now...but if she comes up with some scenario where her father is to blame for her disappearance, we will likely only have her word for whatever supposedly happened...
