We’re about to add it but I know that once you go there, there’s no putting this genie back in the bottle. Have any of you ever regretted adding it? Or know anyone who regrets it? Is there any advice you can give so as not to weaponize it? We have a kid right on the cusp of driving age. There’s lots of features I think come in very handy like crash notification and location checks but it also does things like says how long you’ve been somewhere.

What would you suggest enabling or disabling? Is it a blessing, a curse, or both?

Why not just use Apple Find My and enable crash detection on their phone?

Enable it all. It's handy to have and not for the stalking capabilities

As the parent of a teenage daughter who’s now driving, it gives me peace of mind knowing she’s made it to where she’s going and not in a ditch somewhere.

My dog is triggered by the audible notification my phone gets when the kids drive up. She knows that noise is followed by people a minute afterwards.

25 years ago it was next level controlling or stalker behavior to put a tracking device on someone’s vehicle. Now people think you must be hiding something if you do not have a tracking device with you at all times.

Yep whole family is on it but me. I'm not having my kids track my every move.

No regrets. Gives me peace of mind knowing my family made it to where they were going. Couldn’t care less if people know where I am

My wife has talked about getting it but I don't really understand the point.

People are more connected now than they've ever been but we're like, no, it isn't enough, we need to track each other.

It’s a safety tool. Peace of mind with knowing kids and family got to their destination safely.

Nothing to hide. No care if family sees where I am.

None of the above. I have absolutely nothing to hide. I don't answer to my kids. If I'm a few minutes late picking up my kids they need to learn to call me or wait until I get there.

My mom visited us a few weeks back here in Germany. The first day I took her on the Autobahn her Life360 sent my stepdad an alert that his wife was driving 135 mph.

That's all I have.
