We use Bouncie for my son's car. $10/month. It plugs into the OBD2 port and accurately relays his terrible driving habits, speed, location and other trip information. I can speak from experience that the impact detection alert works very well, even with no airbag deployment.

It also lets you access some diagnostic information for the car. Fuel, battery, if an engine codes get triggered, etc. You can also set up a maintenance schedule.

and what did you do? Pulled her from the burning vehicle? CPR?

Tell us more how if it wasn’t for you and life360 teaming up, she wouldn’t be alive today

My dog is triggered by the audible notification my phone gets when the kids drive up. She knows that noise is followed by people a minute afterwards.
my teen driver is my dogs roughhouse playmate. When the dog hears that sound, all hell breaks loose. Problem is that he has a buddy a block over, so could be a false alarm. It takes the dog 10 minutes to stop spinning in circles and watching the door.

My wife watches him in it, I see no downside. Trust but verify I figure. But occasionally he “accidentally” turns off, or “I don’t know why”. Is the reason. It is rare.

does it tell you he is getting a bj when parked behind the movie theater? Or do you have to ruin it with texting “Son why are you parked behind the theater? Are you okay?!”

kids are having to turn their phones off and make up something just for a little dead time of not being surveilled

He prefers seldom traveled country roads.

I mean maybe you are, that’s part of life and growing up etc. This idea of surveillance to “make sure they’re safe” seems incredibly unhealthy for all parties

In 1980 there were almost 10000 teen deaths due to MVA. No telling the number w life altering injury. Safety in vehicles, seat belts and other technology we didn’t have contributed to that. Getting driving data isn’t some oppressive helicopter behavior, it is just common sense

My wife (no pic) uses snapmaps with my two older girls and will likely do the same for my son once he starts moving around on his own.
