You don't give any credence to the power of suggestion on a young person? If a child is gay or transgender, shouldn't they be having these thoughts naturally without a poster in a classroom telling them that they should think about it?

That's a really bizarre statement and I'm not even sure how to address it. The natural order of things can be defined in any number of ways, and it was pretty obvious what was meant in the initial statement.

If someone said Mother Nature, would you also obfuscate with some silly tangent?

If that number is correct, then that means that 3 people in 1000 are transgender.

I wish as much time and effort was invested by society in treating mental illness as they are in this bullshite. Cause I'm willing to bet a hell of a lot more people than 3 in 1000 experience mental illness and depression and its effects are far more important to society than people that don't understand the concept of "Boys have a penis, Girls have a vagina."

Personally, I think this whole transgender thing is sanctioned support of people that are mentally ill all in the name of some perverted form of social justice. We really arent' helping anyone.

You think a poster is going to turn someone gay or make them consider it? It doesn't work that way.

Man, is that profound. It's almost as if human biology and its derivative societies/constructs weren't shaped by the same factors that you name.

It's not a coincidence that the south is the STD and teen pregnancy capital of the US. When you don't educate kids about sex it doesn't stop them from having sex, it just causes them to make stupid decisions when they have sex. This is no different. Every 7th grader knows there are gay and transgender people. Educating them about it isn't going to make them say "hey, cutting my dick off sounds pretty cool"

This.

I'll never understand why someone would think sheltering their kids and pretending something doesn't exist is the best route. Hell, your kid is more likely to adapt your stance if you actually teach them about it in detail and why you don't support homosexuality/gender identity issues.

While I may not personally agree with someone's decision to hate these people, I can certainly respect someone who can explain what it is and why they feel the way they do.

Hiding your kid from it and/or telling them, "Don't worry what these people are like; just know they're wrong!" is probably going to make a lot of kids decide to believe the opposite the minute they hear a coherent argument from the other side since they were never presented one from you/your side. Wouldn't you rather your kid be loaded with information and facts from your side so he/she has a defense when they inevitably get hit with opposition?

That's because you think the Natural Order were the 1950s, when that's not the case. The natural order are lions murdering other lions and then doing a small genocide on his cubs. The natural order are mantises eating their mates. The natural order is allowing the weak to die. The natural order is disorder.

Humanity on the other hand stands in stark contrast to the natural order. We we do not adapt to our environment, but we manipulate it as we see fit, and are only getting better at it as the years progress. We have almost total control over our planet and every species living in it. We also help each other selflessly and allow the weak to live, which is in stark contrast to almost every other species. If the natural order applied, I should be able to rape and murder who I please with no society to stop me. We have order, not natural order, and this order changes over time and for each society as they find necessary.

I'm not advocating teaching kids about trannies or anything. especially in the 7th grade.

but teaching kids to save their virginity until marriage is a pretty hilarious concept. Especially in hindsight. I think I had wood for close to 75% of my adolescence. No teacher was going to stop me from sticking my wiener anywhere. Because science

That's adorable. By your definition of the natural order, should female bears let their cubs die since that's the rational view? Why do certain animals operate in groups while others don't? Obviously nature has shaped humans to look out for each other or abide by some general moral understanding that has benefited the human race in its survival/prosperity.

I don't need to rely on 1950. I can go back thousands of years and transcend the vast majority of cultures across the world. Norms that relate to gender have been similar across pretty much all of humankind, with just a few aberrations along the way.

You may think the world of 1950 is old-fashioned and out-dated. I think in some ways we have progressed, but it's not an absolute concept. It's frankly irrational to think that humanity is on some infinite quest of progress and advancement in every category. That's the general trend, but not a guarantee in every facet of life. Inasmuch as we are going so far as to re-define basic grammar in basically an Orwellian fashion, I'd say that's pretty clear.

I heard that using the phrase ignorant bigot actually increases the penis size of liberals, can anyone confirm?

Pretty sure the percentage of teen births has gone down since moving away from abstinence based teaching.

You don't seem to grasp what the natural order is.

The same liberals who endorse tolerance for gays and trannies are the same liberals who endorse tolerance for Muslims. Now someone please explain this to me.
