Homosexual activity and inclinations have been found in other species of animals (not just humans).
It's biological variance, and it's something that is considered and noted in biology/evolution. Gay people do not genetically reproduce, but that doesn't stop these traits from existing. It's not normal, but it's natural.
With all that said, I do NOT believe that this is appropriate to discuss in 7th grade. This should be saved until 11th/12th grade because it is sensitive material that requires a mature mind to truly understand it.

That's why my kids attend a private school. I would be beyond livid if the schools were brainwashing kids that this sort of thing is normal. I don't wish any ill will towards gays, don't want to kill them, honestly don't care if they get married. I really just wish they'd shut the frick up about it and live their life without trying to rub their lifestyle in everyone's face. But no matter how you slice it, homosexuality is NOT normal behavior and it goes against the laws of nature. All one has to offer for proof is the fact the human race would become extinct in about 100 years if everyone practiced homosexuality.

There is one goal in this type of indoctrination. It is to forge a Social Justice Army of youth to be the ones wasting their and our time over the next few decades pressuring institutions to champion minority causes.
