sounds odd. Every other insurer out there is raising rates on tesla vehicles. They have the highest death rate of any manufacturer out there right now.

As I have posted several times in these threads, Tesla has had over 7B fsd miles and the data to back it up. The deaths in a lot of those cases were from idiots that did things to intentionally screw with the fsd safety features. Also, because they were too stupid to know that the vehicle had a manual exit handle.

According to the Tesla safety stats, the fsd cars are over 12x safer than a human driver.

I’ve had a ton of quality control issues with my model X, (in the shop a ton), but I still have it because I use the full self driving so much and I’ve gotten very used to it. It is way safer than me driving.

I think Elon/Tesla will start their own insurance company soon. FSD is absolutely amazing. I will take it over people driving on their own anyday.

There is already Tesla insurance company and they have been raising rates, not just inflation raises.

I only know them because their stock is fun to trade. Never seen them in the wild with any actual insurance.

Neither of your links stated what you claim of "They have the highest death rate of any manufacturer out there right now."

Everyone knows Tesla insurance is rising fast and that can be attributed to the cost of repairs. It is not rising because they have the highest death rate. They are however the safest vehicles on the road and exponentially safer when FSD is engaged

that's just a dumb statement.

Why is it dumb? Some rebuttal would be useful otherwise you are just spamming the thread.

My Tesla is on FSD at almost all times

My model 3 swerved and avoided an accident in manual driving mode.

We were both merging into the same lane and the work truck was coming up fast from behind, apparently about to miss his exit.

Having not even traded paint with another car since my teenage years, I would say the technology is remarkable.

Good luck getting paid out when someone hits you and doesn’t have insurance.

What happens when my self driving car hits your self driving car? Can they scan both cars computers, see which one made the error and assign responsibility off of that?

This situation will be so rare, it will basically become irrelevant.
