Throw out the models

Models don’t matter. All that matters is Peej’s predictions and expect the exact opposite

No change for Laura. Hurricane forecasted for Central LA coast.

Marco’s new track just east TX/LA border as TS.

I would support limited posting privileges for the stickied thread. Hate wading through all the speculation, WAG’s, and outright trolling by a bunch of morons that flock into here with every storm.

Rummy make this happen!

A lot depends on how much interaction Laura has with Cuba... and how does Marco fair going over the Yucatan.

Levi seems to be hinting pretty strongly that he disagrees with the models and thinks this will end up further east into Louisiana. In my opinion, he is one of the best out there. It’s crazy having to closely watch two at the same time.

06z HAFS-B has a solution like that, either way, they system will be interacting with the UL trough over the Gulf and facing shear and dry air as it moves N (?) or NW (?).

A lot of the motion depends on when it starts weakening and how fast it does.

We can see this by looking at an area avg sounding from the 06z GFS as the system approaches Louisiana. The lower level flow is towards Texas and the mid & upper level flow is towards Louisiana.

The GFS decouples the system taking what is left of the 500mb vort into Louisiana and sending the 850mb vort towards Texas.
