Stout- that is the worst reasonable outcome. I suspect it is possible but if they put likelihood it would be less than 20%

Maybe for insurance purposes, a tornado warning prior to a hurricane landfall and the inevitable storm surge may help the homeowners in their upcoming battle with the insurance companies.

Stout, don't pay attention to that shite. That is a very very rough estimate and with the direction of the wind, the lake will not be flooding that away. Like I said you danger is the canal and they drained that mother fricker today completely.

To get the GFS down to 960 or so 5 days out is pretty indicative of what it thought could happen, but yes, it was underestimating it on the operational run.
